Edward P. Mooney
Ed is an Account Executive specializing in surety and
construction insurance. Prior to joining J & B in 1996 Ed
was a surety underwriter and wholesaler here in Atlanta. Ed
is a skilled underwriter with particular focus on start up,
young and / or growing concerns, seeking to improve their
surety program’s terms and conditions. Ed is active is
several industry and civic associations including those
mentioned above. Ed attended Gannon University in Erie, PA
receiving his B.S. in Finance.Dan Merkel, CIC
Dan is an Account Executive with our firm having spent
many years in the insurance industry prior to joining J & B
in 2000. Dan specializes in risk management consulting and
insurance brokerage to many areas of commercial business,
including a specialty in the construction field. Dan has
received his Certified Insurance Counselor's designation and
is active in several professional and civic organizations.
Additionally, Dan has served as an instructor within the
industry on a variety of insurance topics over the years.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Dayton and holds
Insurance and Counselors licenses in many states.
